Portfolio Update

I've been putting some much needed work into my online portfolio over the past week. Among other things, I've added a few new samples to the "Stock Car Stout" project category and added a third category into the mix. The "Babbling Blog" category is essentially just a way to easily access this blog from by portfolio site. There are also a couple more project categories in the works, so stay tuned for more updates. All those interested can access it by clicking here.

Vega

I didn't get a lot of work done at my first Sketch Charlotte meeting, but I did manage to wrap up this Vega sketch. As always, be sure to click on the image for a larger view.

KEN

I killed so much time playing this game as a kid, I had to do a little tribute.

AQUAMAN, YOU GO...TALK TO SOME FISH

Even at age 30, I still enjoy getting toys for Christmas. This year, my new toy came in the form of a digital sketching program called SketchBook Pro. There are a lot of things I like about this program, but one thing I truly love is the convenience of not having to scan my original sketch, lighten it, print it out, refine it, and scan it again to digitally ink and color. Ordinarily, I wouldn't put forth that kind of effort for an Aquaman sketch, but since I can easily add inks and colors in SketchBook Pro without the hassle of scanning, why not?
